Driving Styles

Hi, I was just wondering what driving styles you guys have. Do you drive it like you stole it, or cruise around.

I really like to have fun with my modded ss and push it to 4000pm-5500k rpm almost every time I drive it, and I've been noticing oil level going down and having to fill it up some. Very "spirited" driving, and I do mostly city driving..

Should I stop driving it so hard, and will it mess up my camaro? I feel like I should have my fun with it though...what are you thoughts?

I like cruising around with some spirited driving. Don't want to be that guy that is speeding around town showing off and trying to race everyone. It's bad enough that the Mustang and Civic guys do that

I only get mine out once a week so far. With that said just normal driving with the occasional tip in through a gear or 2 and leaving some rpm left even at that.

I don't speed but sometimes I like to get up to speed quicker them other times. With longtube headers and Corsa Xtreme catback I get attention wherever I go....and I never decline a challenge from other cars when it comes to showing off a loud exhaust. Using the tapshift and hitting 5000rpm in 1st i let off the gas when I shift into second this creates a hell of a growl that scares woman and makes kids cry. I'm a low speed high noise kinda guy

I've been driving it like I stole it...but I've only owned it for less than a month so probably will eventually just cruise it.

I drive my Camaro just normally. I don't race or track. If I am honest with myself, I don't really need a V8 with the way I drive. I just got to have one.

In town, I normally just enjoy easy driving; on the interstate, I normally drive it like I stole it .. traffic permitting.

Like I stole it from a cops wife and he is hot on my tail.... I shift at 9,000 rpm, and the last time I drove her I hit 225 mph.... True Story...

I drive it how ever I please, but with winter coming on I now have to baby it to get traction taking off to not spin. I check the catch can every couple thousand of miles and usually get a ounce say in three thousand miles or more... Also I use driven racing oil, and have to with 5k oil changes top off 1/2 quart in there some time....

I see (and hear) plenty of jackasses racing their junk, not impressive.

Cruising is relaxing and you spill less beer that way.

Drive it like you stole it. Anytime two cars get side by side it’s a race. Even if it’s for a short distance. Anyone that says different is full of $hit. (Obviously this is conditions allowing. You’re just an idiot if you’re doing this in town or heavy traffic)
