Help....... QC Question.

Just called GM to get the latest on my car produced on 2nd of July. Factory last day was 3rd. Customer service person tells me that its in quality control being tested as are all new cars.

Is this QC as in I may not see it for months or is this just the regular quality testing. She tells me this is standard coming of the line but she used the dreaded QUALITY CONTROL words ?

I am in the same boat, I guess the QC people are on vacation with the rest of the plant so we probably wont see any movement till after the vacation.

Someone posted that normal QC is about 4 days. If they find something wrong then it's longer - like me.

Yours was produced on the 2nd? Mine was 3800 on 07/01, and my VIN's higher than yours. No big deal, just weird.

I have too. Super60 says the QC yard is empty and there is a long line of cars waiting to go into the shipping yard on monday morning. The go to QC automatically once off line so hoping mine is in those cars waiting to ship.

mine was produced on 7/2, but since the plant closed for a week it is still there in on HOLD!! I hope it is only because the plant was closed I know that it still needs to go thru QC. Hopefully no issues. Vin#24068
