La Porte area, anyone know this car? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I picked up a 2010 2SS/RS black with cyber gray stripes from a dealership in La Porte a few weeks ago on 22" Asanti AF144s and was wondering if anyone in the area knows the car or anything about it? It only had 3400 miles on it and was bone stock but when I got in to leave it feels like it has an aftermarket clutch in it. I pulled the stock air intake to install a Vararam and the throttle blade had a face sharpied onto it so I know the previous owner at least made it into that point. Just wondering if anyone knows any performance parts it may have had/still have on it or know anything else about the car. Pics shortly.

I've taken off my fair share of intakes, and I can honestly say I've never seen a face sharpied on to a throttle plate...

We used to shapie quotes and stuff on them in 4th gens when we did a cam swap but I can't say I have ever seen anyone else do it. I was cracking up when I pulled the intake tube off and saw that.

Now if I ever buy a pre-owned car I will definitely pull the intake off and look for that haha!

Probably quite a few. My neighbor was outside and looked at me funny after I pulled the tube because I was literally laughing out loud. I was not expecting that at all.

Sidenote, I forgot to mention that there is some sort of heat tape on the power steering reservoir, possibly from a procharger or other charger of some sorts?

Hopefully not. It only had 3400 miles on it and the engine runs great. Hopefully if anything grenades it will still be under warranty, lol.

Seems pretty heavily modified for only having that many miles and being a 2010. I ordered mine in April of 10 and I have 30k on mine!

I see it has a Vararam, which is probably one of the higher end parts. It could have a tune as well. I left my 2010 with the dynotune and Vmax on when I traded it for the 2012. someone will think they have a real special stock Camaro...lol.

I think the OP put the Vararam on it himself, I'm more interested in what they left behind after they removed whatever mods they had on it haha
