Driveshaft measurement needed please. ZL1 SS

I'm in the process of going from an m6 to a 6l90. I have what I was told by the seller on this forum that its a driveshaft from an auto zl1, I went to bolt it up and the rear its too short. Will fit but when flat on both flanges the center bearing doesn't line up in the tunnel and the slip joint expands more than it should. I'm using an SS diff for now and that very well may be the issue. Is the zl1 diff flange longer? What are the driveshaft lengths of an auto zl1 and auto SS? I would appreciate any help.
