HEHE, my mod project for this weekend
got the new gauge cluster and the GM remote start with 2 new keys (of course after I install I have to go get the keys cut and programmed)
Now, the cluster came with install instructions but the remote start (which is a cable harness and a couple other small things), no instructions...grrr |

Part of the remote start is using a Tech 2 to reprogram the computer, that is what the code is that came with your kit. The dealer has to call some number and give them that code, then GM gives them the unlock code for your car. I had major problems with mine when the dealer did it. Basically what happened with mine was that there was an error with the code.

you can program your keys yourself, don't let them charge you for a 20 second process
1) stick old key into ignition and turn to "on" (it's the position before "start") 2) turn off and take out old key 3) quickly (like a few seconds) insert new key and turn to "on" 4) The DIC will say "Key Programmed" |

I have to ask you, but when you got your 4-pack gages what came with it to mount the gages to the top plate?

I did the gauge pack yesterday. It was very easy except the AC piece, that was the biggest PITA. I also used the Zip ties to hook it up and it seems to be good to go, I made them as tight as I could and they aren't moving.

make sure your dealer can cut those keys for you .they are laser cut keys most dealers do not have the computer and cutter.
