Preferred Finish for SSX Wheels

Just wondering what finish potential ZL1 buyers would like to see on the "optional" SSX Wheels. Would prefer to only have potential buyers who might choose the SSX wheels to respond.

I would be interested in brushed or possibly polished.

I am torn between polished and comp grey. If they can pull off a comp grey that's not painted then that would be nice.

I voted competition gray, but should be offered in grey and/or silver painted or polished.

Although competition grey would be nice, I'm thinking those that want a silver or polished wheel from the factory will have to opt for the original ZL1 wheel. I'm guessing that the black SSX wheel and standard silver/polished wheel will be the two options.

Powder coated midnight finish, which is like a shiney black chrome look, like the wheels on the T3 Bumblebee...that should be an option opposite the bright polished finish on all Chevy performance wheels.

I have to agree with this quote as all of the options are intriguing.

The difference between the polished Zl1 wheels and the black SSX wheels is dramatic on the ZL1. The black certainly inspires a race look to the car and a meaner more aggressive appearance. The polished wheels are more subdued, which I did not think was possible. I am going to wait and see all of the photo shop results first before I make a decision.

I like Competition Grey the best like the Corvette optional wheels.

Black is sharp, but tends to hide a lot of the wheel detail.

I think a really sharp color combination would be to have a Competition Grey wheel option, Comp Grey stripes, and Comp Grey interior accents on the door panels and dash. You could do that on White, Red, Yellow, IOM, IBM, Silver.... and not just a ZL1, it would be a nice package for an SS.

I feel the same. Those SSX wheels have that purely functional, "I WILL kick your a$$" look to them. In my opinion, Polished Aluminum or Chrome just looks out of place on an "all business" looking wheel like that, and Black hides too much of the details. Comp gray is a good compromise, and another nice bonus is the brake dust isn't quite so obvious .
