Yeah, Harvick with a big push by Hamlin. Jeff deserved to win but got hung out to dry too often. At least a Chevy won.

And that four wide s**t, that was crazy....exciting, but crazy!

Very good race, I must admit. C'mon Daytona 500!!!

Gordon got screwed, I think he deserved to win, but at least we got a Chevy in there! Also a great showing by Stewart, 3rd place! Not bad for his first race with his new team.

Can somebody please help me understand why the manufactuer is even relevant in NASCAR anymore, other than providing material/financial support to the race teams?

I can see where there would be bragging rights in the olds days when they actually drove "stock" cars, but today all of the cars are regulted so heavily there is virtually no difference between a car powered by Ford, Chevy or Toyota. It comes down to the driver, crews an even a little luck, some days, to determine a winner.

Congratulations definitely need to go out to Harvick and his team, for sure, but giving props to Chevrolet for the win is weak, IMHO.

While I strongly agree with your sentiments, each mfr. still builds their own engines, therefore, props are deserved for Chevrolet.

Getting back to the cars appearance, I personally think its a joke. NASCAR is getting very close to IROC with the Sprint Cup cars.

I'm with you, the cars should better represent their respective mfr.!
