took the car to the dealership i explained to the guy what was going on and he said its been a year since he has seen something like that. he told me that it was mechanical problem. i am worried about how much this will cost me, its 250 just so that they can look into it. so i am still freaking out hahah

My Camaro has now twice done something similar.

The two modules cease to synch (according to the OnStar rep the first time it happened), and the brake, ABS and traction control warning lamps all come on.

This happens after start up.

Let it sit overnight, everything was fine, but it did it again yesterday after sitting outside in the sun for three hours (the temp outside exceeded 100f). Learned that in this condition, the cruise control won't engage.

Got it home, albeit with rougher shifting and a slightly agricultural sound, left it overnight and it's been fine today.

Took it to the dealer after the first time; there were no codes.

When I was driving down the hwy something fell from my car it made a loud noise and it shuts off Admittedly service stability light come on and smoke was coming from the oil cap which also once I got it on the tow trailer it starts leaking oil just bought the car last month from a local car lot
