Yeah mine makes a rubbing sound. It's not real loud but it's there when everything else is silent. It's like the column needs to be lubed or something.

All the SS have electric power steering, the V6 cars have hydraulic. My Tahoe has electric and I can hear it when turning the steering wheel at low speeds like parallel parking.

2009-2012 = HYDRAULIC

2013- ? = ELECTRIC

My steering wheel makes a LOUD sound... every time I press on the middle of it.
