Yes they are , I was going to go with black or the silver but settled for Red..
They are clip-ons which I think is a whole lot better then the Glue on type and less time then getting them Painted on. Very easy to install them , they take no more then 30 mins for the total install .. ( Got them for Christmas )

I have the Caliper Covers as well. First mod I did. From what I've researched on these, they give a good look over the painting of calipers as I've done in the past. They also help keep some of the brake dust off the wheels but more importantly they are made from aircraft aluminum which acts as a heat sink, pulling the heat away from the calipers. In the field study that MGP provides on their site as well on YouTube, the wheels with Caliper Covers proved to be 30 to 50% cooler than wheels without the covers. I like all the factors that these covers provide.
Also you can order them in any color you want and with logo's if you choose. I didn't find this out until after I had ordered mine. Everyone who has seen my C5 talk about how it's a nice touch to the wheels. Only takes about five minutes per wheel to install after pulling the wheels off. Very easy and clean install. |
