Twincharging

Did a search to see if there were any talks, not really surprised I couldn't find anything. SO has anyone here considered twincharging their car?

I found this one with some quick google-fu.

We have used the Turbo technologies TT system for the Camaro's... great setup have made excellent power with it. I have also tuned cars with the IPS systems on them with great success as well... Contact us if you want more details....

here is the video of the 427 TT Camaro we did a while back. don't mind the smoke, the engine was from an "unknown" builder....

I think he is referring to a turbo system feeding a supercharger like some have done with the Ford GT, cobras and gt500s.

We've seen in done before but tuning and cooling issues keep it from being practical. You can always just turn up the boost on one or the other.

Just throw on a couple of prochargers. My shop is doing a dodge truck right now with twin prochargers and nitrous.

should have read it better lol... definitely can be done. in that case I would likely run a magnuson 2300 setup then run a IPS turbo system with the larger gt3586 or gt37 turbos.

Yeah this is what I'm talking about. The link I provided shows a Camaro with the setup. The article even leads to a camaro5 post where they say it's a twinturbo feeding into a Magnusson TVS2300 SC with nitrous.

What exactly about the cooling would be less practical? I assume they would share the same intercooler (since most of the kits I see for either come with an upgraded intercooler anyway).

The tuning I could see maybe being a bit tougher.

Been trying to find a ZL1 who wants to try twin turbos. So far no one has taken the offer.

I typically only see compound induction on cars that already have superchargers from the factory, i.e. ZL1 ZR1 or someone went to small with their supercharger and decided to go bigger and get a turbo/twins. Like others have said you can just turn up the boost on one or the other.
