Octane Boosters are garbage, it wouldn't help.

My mind is blown that it's illegal to pump your own gas in some states... why?

Same here in Oregon. Does the pump jockey get all snotty out there in Jersey and order you to turn off your engine?

It is asinine, but that is how it goes, only two states left in the Union, NJ and OR, on opposite ends of the continent. Everytime a bill comes up to have self-serve, folks come out to stop it stating: " with people out of work, now is not the time..."

It is much slower having someone pump your gas, they don't do your windshield or check your oil like when we were kids, and thank God for that.

Take a small hose. Stick it in your gas tank and syphon it out into a gas can for your lawn mower

Is there anti siphoning in the 2010's? I know there is in the '13s.

I would take jerry cans to the station, make them fill those, and then put the gas in my car when they were done. Problem solved. May not be able to pump, but i can pour.

I take it by the way this thread reads. That in a lot of states your not allowed to put your own gas in the car. I don't want anyone putting fuel in my Camaro or any other vehicle I own. A few years back a friend of mine didn't want to put his own fuel in because it was raining. This was when they had Diesel in the same pumps, needless to say the JERK A&& attendant put diesel in his car. Out come of this deal New 454 motor in his I believe it was a 72 Iroc.

what the hell is "60 Preminum"?? I woudl have just put rgular in your tank too. If you want 93 then say 93.

That must be it, the entire way down I was saying to my friend, it seems like te Rpms are higher, but that doesn't make any sense!!, guess it was just my mind playing tricks, but the mpg's and slower acceleration definetly wasnt

Um 60 dollars premium gas. I don't know that's what everybody I have ever heard get gas say. Must be a "non self serve state thing" haha

how do they do this, just make the pipe to the tank an Z shape so you cant get a hose in there?
