Stock Clutch = No Good!
So I went to show my car to a guy from work this evening. I hit it in 1st from like 5 and Traction Control came on but we were gone, 2nd and 3rd the clutch was slipping so bad we were barley pulling at all! Clutch was slipping like crazy!!! This was with fast shifting and foot to the floor. If I granny shift, it holds she the power with no problem. What choices do I have in the aftermarket? I really don't want a stiff clutch like a race car, this is my DD and I still want a nice soft clutch. What did you do? Is it Good? Soft? You suggest it?
Thanks Zinn |

There is a thread around here with somethings some have tried and it helped. HunterV6 has a nice clutch package he got for his car also. There is also a after market master cylinder that helps. What I did when my car was being built was has my trans and diff oil changed to full synthetic. This has prolonged my clutch with thw extra power.

sound like the clutch is done and maybe some flywheel damage as well. I have similar issues as well. As soon as the body shop finish(mad) going on 4 weeks on a 2 week job causing me to miss two appointment to get a spec 5 clutch and flywheel install, and gears if Xmas doesn't get the best of me.

Getting a aggressor bumper installed one would think I am getting a complete paint job with the amount of time he's taking.
