2010 Camaro SS ABS, Stabilitrak, T/C Light

Hey guys, New to the forum

I've done a-lot of searching and have seen some other threads on here, but none really have a specific answer.

I soon as I start the car, I have no issues, only light on the dash is is my TPMS light because My wheels don't have the sensors in them (don't think this is the cause of the issue, but could be wrong) But anyways, no lights other than the TPMS light. But as soon as I put the car in gear and move maybe 10 to 15 feet, my dash lights up like a Christmas tree. My ABS, Stabilitrak, and Traction Control lights all turn on. No CEL Light though. I can turn the car off and restart it, and all the lights will be off again. But as soon as the car moves 10-15 feet, they all turn on again.

My buddy hooked up his Snap ON scan tool, originally it was giving an error for the front left wheel speed sensor. replaced that.

Scanned again today and the only code he got for my abs was C0131.

Googled that code and didn't really find any results.

If any of yall can shed some light on this that would be great. Tried asking the stealership about it and they quoted me $1500.

Does lights blink? Stutter while driving? Your friend doesn’t know to to work his scanner. He should’ve gone to the next code issue. Go to auto zone and have em scab it. Sounds like a coil pack or spark plug wire

Sounds like issue is no tpms. When I run my DR setup at 17 psi it does the same thing you are seeing. I have tpms sensors in them to track my pressures

Op I fired my car up yesterday. The tpms light came on. I checked my tire pressure and found the passenger side front and rear tires were down on air slightly. I pumped them up to the correct psi and it cleared. Went for a drive today with zero issues. Take a gauge and check your tire pressure.

Did you just change your tires?

If so what sizes are on the front/rear? Too much of a size difference between the front/rear will cause this as well.

I changed all 4 tires on mine long ago and drive with low tire sensor lit cause of supposedly factory rims and tires I bought with no sensors in them. Never had issues with that. I don’t think that causes stabiltrack land traction control issues... it’s soemthing else

Negative, none of the lights blink or stutter. I checked over all my plug wires and everything seems fine (no cracks, breaks or anything like) plus I feel like if it were something with a sparkplug wire or coil pack, the car would throw a check engine light.

The car has aftermarket MMR replica wheels from Phastek on them. Will post a link to the wheels below:

https://www.phastekperformance.com/M...-wheels-gb.htm

On the site, it says the recommended tire sizes are:

"Recommended Tire Size for 20x10" Front Wheels: 275/35 ZR20 tire
Recommended Tire Size for 20x11" Rear Wheels: 315/35 ZR20 tire"

I have 275/35ZR20 on the fronts

And On the backs I have 305/35ZR20

I know the backs aren't the recommended size but when I looked it up on the tire speed calculator, the speeds were exactly the same as the stock wheel and tire.

(tires were already on wheels when I got them or else I would have ordered the recommended size)

I had someone tell me it might be the ABS control module, But I don't know how accurate that is.

That is not going to fix it. You have a bad right or left wheel sensor. This is typical GM. I had to replace two wheel hubs on my old car (that include the sensors) Exact same light issue.

Have you checked your battery? Dash likes to light up when the battery is on its way out.

I will second it may be tire size. I have read that there should be no more than 0.5" difference between the front and rear overall diameter. I don't know how true that is. Your tires are probably outside that base on the sizes you gave. 3 different brands showed 27.6 front and 28.4 rear, which is a 0.8" difference.

245/45X20, 275/40X20, and 315/35X20 are all the same OD.
If the 275's were a 40 ratio they would be closer to the specs of the 305/35s. ~1% difference.
275/35 are ~4% smaller than stock and 3% smaller than the 305/35.
IIRC 5% is the threshold.

I'm not saying that's your issue, just pointing out an error in the recommended tire sizes.

I am starting to think Fred is becoming our resident math wiz!

Whenever calculations are needed, he's right there and got it all figured out already.

So if it could possibly be the tires, I know I'm going to need to replace the tires on the back as they are getting pretty bald.

What sizes what you recommend for both front and back on my car based on the wheels that are on it?

I bought a used set of the MRR M228 wheels and i put one on my car without the TPMS sensor and all these lights turned on in my car as well. After putting on the tpms sensors and then putting the wheels on the car all those lights turned off. Maybe it’ll be the same with yours?
