650-700rwhp Tires?

What’s up guys? I’m going to be getting around 700 to the wheels from my car after I install the SC, etc. what are the best tires for a street queen/ daily. Not gonna be racing this car, and it may go on the track 2 times in its whole life. I need something to keep it to the ground and prevent slippage. Any advice? Something with optimal power to the ground without destroying my rear end and burning out all the way to 4th gear. Thanks!

Toyo R888Rs...

Not the best rainy day or really cold tire... grip for sure...R compound so it is softer and for warmer weather...

You won’t find an ‘all season’ tire that grips like that. PS4s may be another option...

no street tire will prevent slip from a dig at 700rwhp....question....why invest in the power if you will not use it?

I've been debating between the Toyo r888R's and the Pilot Sport 4S. I'm going to sway away from the Mickey Thompson Street SS'. Those reviews pushed me away. I'm aware that I'll inherently have to be cognizant of weather conditions/rain and should only use these for summer tires. The Wheels I'll be running for the summer will have them on there, and that was the plan from the start. My concern is overall drivability on the street. I'm thinking the Toyo's are the way to go. Maybe the Nitto NT555s? Never thought getting tires was gonna be this tough.

nittos are garbage....if you are worried about wet roads, tires like the Proxies are not going to help either....i would go with something like the continental extreme contact sports

ive been running the MPSS (now known as PS4S) for almost 2 years. If i i try, i can spin them easily but under every day driving (and even under 3/4ish throttle acceleration), they stick about as good as you can ask. I dont drive the car much in the rain.

I dont think there is a tire that will not spin under those circumstances you ask of it (700 rwhp) in a RWD application. AWD, i dont have a doubt the michelins will get the job done

Totally agree. You can spin out at any time if u mash it. I'm just asking for daily conditions. I''ve been watch watching video reviews and these guys are dumping it at 3500 RPM and spinning out with 700 HP. Of course youre gonna spin. From the one video the R88R's did hold up with a 900 hp car, but I can't find good information. I've never been this conflicted with tires.

ive been running toyo r888r for two years now, its all I run for my street setup. I make mid 700's to the wheel and they are amazing. I would recommend them without a doubt. I even track my car and drive spirited everyday. definitely worth the price

Buy a pair of 17x10s ( they bolt right up) put a Mickey Street R or SS 305/45/17 and enjoy your new found traction!

Mickey Thompson Street SS review, and there's a youtube video with these dudes driving 600+ Mustangs. They preformed the worst out of Nittos and Toyos
