Are slaps in the face now a good thing?

Manufacturer incentive means the dealership still gets their money as if they sold for MSRP.

Which means not only can any Joe Blow walk in and get better than invoice w/o negotiating, but savvy negotiators like you can clean up BIG time relative to when facing standard pricing with no manufacturer incentives.

I purchased my 1SS two weeks ago for 18.7% off msrp before TTL. So much car and performance for the money!

Now that you mention it, you're right. 12% off from the manuf plus whatever you can get off from the dealer. I actually got a screaming deal on the Miata that way. $4000 off from Mazda.

Yeah, not so great on a 19. Now if it was on the 20 plus the 3k conquest I would be on my way to the dealership instead of waiting until Spring.
