I don't' think that a sample size of n = 2 is enough to conclude that those in the East, in general, will receive their vehicles before those in the Midwest or West. I think that when one's order gets preferenced has more to do with which dealers have priority based on sales volume among other things more so than on where the dealer is physically located.

I have no idea really. I am just going on a couple of other posts where it has been brought up. I have no idea where those post(s) are now though but there was at least one that mentioned it.

I never gave it much thought at the time. The reason I asked is because I must have read it somewhere...LOL!

I am happy for them.

Just really surprised to see movement quite this early a month and a half or so before we think production will start...
I think it is great as it is something that we can at least start to focus on other than ..........

Didn't mean to imply I wasn't happy for them. I just wish I were them. I had my first dream that I could remember about the ZL1. I dreamed that my car finally came in but it was the wrong color. I was so excited that I didn't even notice that it was red and not gray. After driving it for a few hours the dealership called me back and said they made a mistake and gave me somebody else's car and I had to give it back. I woke up sad...haha

In my experience with the GM performance division, ordering parts can take a month or more. They are painfully slow.

To me it seems that they just loaded my order into the production computer for when they tool up the line and begin actual production. In no way do I expect my car to be built sooner than the TPW.

I wonder if GM is hedging on the actual HP mumbers of the ZL1 just to throw off them Ford guys to think they got more power.

When you get your car I hope you all give first driving impressions like the guys that got the first 5th Gens..

They are pushing these things out to make room for the 13's i mean summer is only 3 months after the begining of spring so u can see that these 12's will arrive much earlier than spring i think jan personally
