SS/RS Embroidery Question

I have ordered a Black 2SS/RS with the Orange Accents and Trim. I am wondering if the SS embroiderd on the seats changes to RS or if it is completly removed.

Any idea?

Will still get the SS embroidery to the best of my knowledge.

I know the badges go from silver SS to red SS, so it is clear that SS is the headliner, not RS. I can understand it going to red, but I'm fairly certain that the SS is the one that stays.

If you get the RS with a SS, the SS label overrides the RS label. The SS label is shown. If you get the RS with an LT, then it will be labeled as an RS, but no embroidery on the seats

Thanks for all the information.

So if i understand right:

RS:
1/2 SS = Red SS badges, no RS badge, SS Embroidery
1/2 RT = Red RS Badges, no Embroidery

NON RS:
1/2 SS = Silver SS Badges, SS Embroidery
1/2 LT = No badges, No embroidery

Could they make it any more confusing?

This is the information from the odering workbook:

RS Appearance Package (WRS)
(Available on 1LT , 2LT , 1SS and 2SS)
n 20-inch Midnight Silver painted aluminum wheels
n High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamps
n Body-color roof ditch molding
n R ear spoiler (1LT and 2LT models)
n R S unique taillamps
n R S badging

Sweet pic ^. but.. i think id rather have that SS badge right in the middle of the grille. is the bowtie needed on such an iconic chevy. anyone who cares about anything in the way of cars is perfectly clear that the camaro is a chevy. Showcase the SS.

they want people who arent neccesarily car people to notice the car and want one. honestly enthusiests will buy the car without a ginormous SS on the center of the grill.
