JPSS Sway Bars (27mm Solid Front & 32mm Solid Rear)

Hey everyone,

I'm selling my JPSS sway bars. The front is a solid 27mm bar and the rear is a solid 32mm bar. They will come with the bushings, but no end links. The bars were a bit too stiff on the street with my specific coilovers, but would be great for Camaros with OEM suspension, or springs.

I don't have pictures at the moment, but I'll add some to the thread tomorrow.

Looking at $500 OBO. I just wanted to get this out there to spark some interest. I'd rather sell it to a fellow Camaro5 member directly than having to go through eBay. Feel free to DM if interested.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the main issue? Were they causing the car to bounce?

I am asking because I already have coilovers and will be getting sway bars in the near future. My coilovers made a huge difference in the feel of the car, but I still want to get rid of the little bit of body roll I have left.

I don't think sway bars would cause a car to bounce though. I think that would be more the shocks and springs contributing to that.

The car was just a little too stiff for the street for my liking. The Pedders Xa coilovers have stiff springs and I added a lot of preload to them due to my aggressive drop. That with the sway bars caused one of rear tires to ever so slightly lift off the ground in small, right corners (have a lot of them near me).

The bars would be great with less stiff springs/less preload. Super flat through corners and held well through the long sweepers.

True. The only thing I’ll add to that is that you’ll feel more “bounce” due to feeling the road more since you essentially tie both wheels on each axle to each other.

I have the JPSS 32mm rear sway bar and a OEM 1LE bar in the front with 1LE shocks and struts with 1” BMR springs and yes the car is stiff it’s what I wanted to road course the car. The car doesn’t bounce or feel unstable. This is a smoking deal for bot match sway barns!!

Bouncing is going to be a result of wrong dampening for the wheel rate which is a combo of the springs, anti roll bar, bushings and tire choice. Also if the bushings were not timed that can cause bouncing.

I could have cleaned them a bit for the pictures to make them look good, but these are “take-off dirty”.
