84k in 5 yrs. Drive it more. When the warranty runs out you want to be sure nothing broke that they would have to fix.

I bought my 2013 SS 8/2013 and it's my daily driver and I just hit 4200 miles on it today. My commute is about 8 miles round trip - people are constantly jealous of me over that. My 2012 2LT I had that I traded in after 22 months only had 9305 miles and I got more for a trade in than I owed hence which was too good of a deal to not get the SS when I did. |

Well, like I said originally: "A lot of folks go for the Mobile1 full synthetic, but it's really not necessary. Your choice - it costs a bit more and (since I change every 5K) I don't see the benefit."
I wouldn't be surprised if GM decided it wasn't worth the extra cost involved to put Mobil 1 in "at the factory" (like your manual states). Especially since most owners seem to drain and replace the oil at around 1,500 miles anyway. I read many comparisons of high grade oils and Penzoil and many other brands of synthetic blends rate right up there with the full synthetics. It's syn-blend for me.

You should stop driving it immediately. Park it for 3-4 years and then sell it for $20,000 less than you paid for it. The new owner will really appreciate it when he's driving the wheels off it.

I got my Camaro in 9/28/13 and I got 13700 miles already. Been to Florida once. Went to Georgia another time. Been to Pennsylvania a few times and Massachusetts a few times. I love driving my Camaro. But this winter I will put it away for the winter.

I'm at 3K miles in 1.5 months. That included a week off from work with 0 driving. I expect about 20K+ miles a year. This is my DD.

Drive it as much as you need to; as little or as much. I've had my Camaro for a few months now and have put about 30 miles on it (if that). It has to compete with my other cars and the fact that I work out of the home and don't drive out much. If you have a large commute, don't worry about it. Heck, back in the day when we were younger and gas was cheap, we all used to go out and just cruise the boulevard, racking on the stop and go miles.
