My first fun car, 2000 Camaro Z28 A4. It went through a few themes, different wheels, exhaust etc. The chrome zr1s though with no grill and stock headlights was my favorite setup. Loved those 315s! The first three were at the Camaro Back at the Brickyard event in 2008, got to drive a lap around Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The last one all black was how I sold it. Should have never changed it or sold it. Tried to track it down a few years ago but it had been totaled...

where do I start :/ I had my true dream car (mini collection) just 3 years ago. I was in the oilfield and money was absolutely amazing for 4 years straight. I am single and young plus had all the perks of oilfield life - Per diem, housing allowance, generous salary, etc. I am a cheapskate and am extremely frugal with everything except my rides lol. I had my 13 fbo cammed 5th gen ss (bought new at the time), my 09 Z06, my 12 cts v wagon, 13 srt grand Cherokee, 12 lifted f250, and 12 evo mr (yes all at the same time). After the crash I sold abt everything (all were paid for except the f250) and bought my house to keep my mortgage pmt cheap and down graded to a purple Buick Rendezvous that I picked up for 475.00. I was scared sh*tless bc everyone was getting laid off and I had very little in the way of savings in the bank bc I was driving my savings lol. Anyway I miss my v wagon the most followed by my G8 gxp manual (just sold that 3 months ago to buy my 16 Z06).Name: my v wagon.png

G8 gxp was I/h/e manual and was a blast to drive. I miss the g8, v wagon, and srt grand Cherokee the most out of all my rides. The rest are a dime a dozen

2000 Trans Am. I purchased this car new a week before I graduated high school. Had that car for 16 years. It went through a lot of changes in that time. Ended up rebuilding the motor, swapping the junk 4l60e to a t56, heads, cam, intake, exhaust, custom 8 point cage, etc. Car had 64k miles when I sold it, body was 9 out of 10, interior was 10 out of 10. I miss this car the most because it was with me through some of the toughest times in my life. I sold it because I thought I wanted to be in a classic. Bought a 1972 Monte Carlo, all numbers matching, 402 BBC with a th400 and 12 bolt.
The guy I sold it to kept In touch with me during his ownership and contacted me when he went to sell it to see if I wanted to buy it back. He changed just about everything that I did to the car so, it wasn’t mine anymore. Don’t know where it is now....wish I didn’t sell that one.

I would've traded a 2000 Trans Am for a 1972 Monte Carlo in a heartbeat. Hopefully you still have it.

^ I ended up getting an offer for three times what I had invested in the Monte and sold it. Selling that helped purchase the Camaro. The Monte was a decent ten footer, but it just wasn’t what I really wanted. I missed my 4th gen and all the creature comforts that it had, not to mention the LS motor, and wanted back in a newer, modern car.

I’ve never been able to sell a car I liked, usually the boring ones get axed from the herd. I guess that’s why I’m single with 5 cars, 2 of which are projects that currently aren’t running.

The only car I might want back would be my very first car, a 1974 Pontiac gto I bought in 1995. It was ugly, but it was the car I learned to work on with my dad. The car pretty much sucked but I often wonder what became of it. It has that sentimental value.

Missed this thread up until now. The car I miss the most was my 87 Acura Integra LS. First car I bought new with my own money. Red, 5 speed, 7000 rpm red line. Not that fast but felt fast and fun.

Love the 75 Monte. I have 2004, so have a soft spot for Montes. My best friend growing ups dad was one of the top salesman at the top Chevy dealership in Cincinnati. He got some cool demos. I still remember he got a Monte Carlo from that era. I remember it was cool and had a sunroof and we felt like kings when we went for a ride in it. I was probably 11 or 12. Just one of those car things that stuck with you. My dad always had a newer GM car in the driveway growing up, so definitely got the car bug along the line.

I've gone through cars like water up until recent years. The one I miss most is probably my 87' Grand National. Not the most attractive or fastest car I've owned, just something about them.

My 1979 Mustang Indy Pace Car. I actually had two of them. At the same time. I bought both of them in 1981. It came in 2 flavors. There was a 2.3 Turbo and a 5.0 V8. I really wanted a 5.0 but couldn’t find one, so I bought a 2.3T. Then a few months later a 5.0 popped up, so I bought that one too. Did I mention that I was working for GM at the time?

Anyway, I eventually sold the 2.3T to my brother and kept the 5.0 until I traded it in on a 1987 Corvette. No doubt it was the right thing to do, since the Corvette was an awesome vehicle, but I wouldn’t mind coming across another 5.0 Pace Car. The picture isn’t my specific car, but it is the exact same appearance. The 2.3 Turbo had the full graphics applied. The 5.0 had the stripes, hood lettering, and ponies on the fender, but the door lettering was still in the box. I preferred it that way.
