New to me 1LE

I just signed the papers on a 2015 2SS 1LE with 24K miles on the odo!!! I have to wait for it to be shipped 1500 miles to me, but I'm very excited to be joining the ranks of the 1LE owners on here. It's my first Camaro (48 year old here) and I can't wait! Sorry if this doesn't belong here.

It already has kooks long flow headers and exhaust system and a CAI intake, and a Hurst short throw shifter, so what is the first mod you guys would do if anything?

I'd say drive it "as is" for a while. If the maintenance history is unknown now would be a good time to do all fluids, belts, hoses etc. to set a baseline. That'll keep you busy for bit while you get familiar with one of my personal favorite versions of the 5th Gen. A 1LE owned by a buddy of mine laid down 430hp at the wheels with similar mods as your's. Pretty snappy with the manual trans and 3.91 gears. If you have a trusted tuner you might want him to have a look at your tune to make sure you're getting the most out of the LS3 and make sure nothing is wonky with the current tune.

Maintenance was well documented. Oil changed every 3K miles. All Maintenance needed at 24K miles has been done on time. I'm thinking of swapping the mufflers to Flowmaster, other than that I haven't seen anything that stands out that I want to do as of yet

A good first mistake an owner can make is to modify the car. Anyone can buy a tool set from Harbour Freight and put in a camshaft with new valve springs and lifters or if you have a ZL1 or 1LE with a supercharger, change the supercharger pulley along with injectors and a fuel pump.

But no one calculates valve events to see how much overlap there is. They do not realize how a supercharger can overheat without increased cooling and how the increased horsepower also requires increasing drivetrain components which are out of reach to handle the loads. Transmission bearings cannot be changed from rollers to TDO, straight cut gears cannot be changed to helical, and there are no parts available for a ZL1 differential if you blow one up. A vendor can offer a clutch with higher rated springs but that will do nothing when all that increased pressure is put on straight cut gears. Same with connecting rods and bearings.

Drive it the way you received it. Learn its limits which are pretty high. Enjoy the fact you don't have a pile in your driveway because you thought you are an automotive engineer with an engine dyno.
