How many quarts of lube do I need for the rear differential?

Planning on replacing the rear diff. fluid on my 2015 V6. How many quarts am I going to need? I’m planning on using Mobil 1 75W-90 LS since it already has LS additive.

1 quart for the replacement.

But if you plan on squeezing the quart bottle to refill diff after draining, purchase 2 quarts. Getting that last 3 or 4 ozs out of the bottle is tough, because of the tight location and elevation of the bottle itself in relation to the diff. After you finish the job, transfer the almost empty bottle to the fuller, and save for the next replacement.

Ditto. I get two quarts at a time, I use a hand pump screwed directly into the bottle. it doesn't get the last bit from the bottom, so I need to add a bit from the second bottle, then I pour what's left of the first one into the second bottle when I'm done.

Or just get a transfer pump and one quart then reuse the transfer pump for other jobs like trans fluid, etc.

Thanks. I already have about 1.5 qts of the oil left from earlier so I should be good to go.
