AFR Target On 93pump plus 100%Meth

so I have a 2015 1LE lsa blower on 2.5 pulley around 12ish psi , btr cam , id1050x , kb bap, longtubes , rotofab , aem meth 1000c nozzle 100% meth set to start around 4psi full spray by 12psi, ive been doing a lot of research on meth tunig trying to get this car dialed in and I think im pretty close check out this log tell me what you guys think ! on log 96 I had a slight part throttle knock but that's it pretty much consistent .82 lambda across the board and 20* timing am I pushing this too far ? I’m probably gonna fatten it up closer to .78 but not sure on the timing .

I'd shot for .78 (11.5 AFR)

Yes definitely gonna richen it up . Still unsure about 20* I’m leaving it at 19* for now. I found this meth tuning chart seems to be pretty accurate as far as afr values , Because when I switch my logs back to regular afr I’m in the mid 10s for afr but much leaner in lambda something a lot of people don’t understand when I ask them about it.

I’ve seen that one as well but it doesn’t account for meth blended with 93% @ approximately 10% The stoich value is something like 13.87

Normally you tune WOT at 11.5 regardless of your running 50% or 100% meth. Your AFR should ot change.

Exactly. The wideband doesn't know what kind of fuel is being burnt it just measures lambda and converts it to afr. 20* of timing seems like a lot.

Gotcha I appreciate it I’m working it down to .78 last nights logs show .79-.80 average so I’m getting close And I’ve settled at 19* as it has never showed any signs of KR

Do everything in Lambda and you can't go wrong. shoot for .78

The whole AFR thing only works if you reconfigure the gauge every time you change fuels and is way to confusing.

So if you have a AFR wide band it is in fact a lambda meter and it converts to a value base on AFR for straight gasoline so even on 100 % Ethanol the gauge would display 14.7 Stoich and 11.5 AFR at WOT if your tuned to .78 at wot.

You have to physically tell the gauge to convert the lambda reading to an AFR value for the fuel you are running in order to use AFR chart For that fuel.

Make sense

Ok Im just not sure if it’s accurate since I’m using 2 different gauges and a conversion from the NGuage to get the readings
