Current build:
1988 Trans Am GTA Notchback clone (OEM notchback hatch and rear seats)
Getting a built LS6/T56.

Previous third gens...
My second car ever, (1st real car when I was 17)
1988 Trans Am GTA

'85 Iroc 305/T5. Just lowered, catback exhaust, and export taillights.

I've had about 15 other 3rd gens over the years. Including 3 other GTAs, 3-4 irocs, 2 iroc 'verts, and a bunch of firebirds. Not to mention 10-15 4th gens as well.

your guess is as good as mine :P bought it 2 days ago been cleaning it up going over things when i have time off of work havnt tested out the heat or a/c

Just noticed the caps missing on the service ports. If it does work, I would get caps on there as soon as possible.

My '87 IROC in 1996:
Special ordered. One of about 2800.
TPI, 5 speed, 3.45 limited slip, engine oil,cooler, 4 wheels discs, low,option car.
Bare metal repaint by GM in 1993 under warranty.
Car had about 120,000 miles on it when this was taken.

Wow, nobody has posted here in over 6 years. I know this is a Gen 5 site but no reason to be shy (or embarrassed). Here is my Dad's '85 Z28. Had a worn 305 originally but now has a 383, built 700 R4 and Moser 12 bolt with 3.73s. My pop is closing in on 81 and still likes to twist the speedo to triple digits. "Sorry officer, it's in my DNA".

This car is so pretty, it seems like it is well-maintained.

Thanks Clyde, I'll pass the word onto my Pop. That is his baby and it is always very clean AND ready to run. Next time I'm visiting him I'll get some interior pics. It is like factory new.
