Had Gforce 1000 hp axles on my car for 3 years and after the 3 years I developed a issue with a popping noise and they not only replaced them, they upgraded them with 1400 hp axles free of charge.

From the above two examples, the warranty claim does not appear to be a sales gimmick.

I have not read of any other manufacturers denying warranty claims...

To be clear - a sales gimmick doesn't have to be untrue to qualify as a sales gimmick. Examples of Gforce honoring their warrant contribute nothing to answering my question.

My stuff from another company didn't break within the HP rating but did develop a popping noise on slow turns. They made I'd right no questions asked. I didn't buy from them and was years after. That makes me believe that the 2 most recognized companies will stand by their product in order to keep business which is a good thing. I'd go for the cheaper price I could get. Even used

Then you should call and ask them if it's sales gimmick since no one here answered your question, only the company can tell yes or no.
