How much have you paid to maintain your Camaro?

Camaro repairs (rough estimates from memory)

*not include regular oil changes and changing between winter and summer wheels*

-AC Belt $230

-New brakes and pirelli summer tires $2,100

-Winter tires and rims $1,900

-New starter, battery, fixed transmission leak $800

Owned since April 2014

54,000 miles (bought at 29,000)

Rough total $5,030

I haven't done much in terms of repairs or maintenance.

Owned since brand new in March 2013. I've just done routine maintenance myself (oil, coolant, trans fluid, diff fluid, brake fluid changes), bought a set of 20" rims for summer use, and put blizzaks on my 18s.

Rough estimate on all of that is probably $3000.

Well when I take it into the shop that does the work bad stuff happens..first somehow I managed to pickup a dyno tune. The car ran different so I called back . Yep you rstock tune is gone so it had to be placed. Are you kidding me? The next time I took it in the stock gears fellout......does it ever stop. So in went some 391s.....beggars can't be choosers. It has an appointment on Fri........hope they don't find anything wrong with my stock converter that warrants a Circle D 3200 stall going in. I will have to wait a pray things are good.......according to my math ....way to much so far has been spent.

OP, you stated to exclude summer and winter tires but you included it with your estimate.

Tires, wheels arent really a repair. IMO the only thing the OP listed that is really a repair was the starter, ac belt, trans leak. If a battery lasted 6 years that is good.

to me a repair is something that broke/went wrong that isnt a wear part.

Outside normal servicing & tires, nothing on repairs. Car was repaired when rear ended, cost was around $10k, but other party's insurance paid 100%.

Nothing over here so far. But next year will be tires, battery, trans line, rotors and pads, and dent removal. Need to save 2k just for all of this.

2012 With 45k on the ODO

Brake pads - $220
Tires - $1,100

Since most are including wrecks even though I don't think that's considered maintain - $8,400.00 but the others insurance paid that.

Re-read the subject heading. That said, yes, his individual post should have said repairs/maintenance.
