Ok, time to come out of the shadows and say HI
Been lurking here for quite some time reading and learning. Just formally joined about a week ago.
I bought my dream Harley 2 years ago and now I must be getting my mid-life crisis, pushing 40, cause I really have the itch to add a hot rod to my stable. Where I live it is mostly Mustangs but those things just don't look good to me. I have really fallen in love with the look of the Gen5. Financially I have to put some things in place before I can let myself make the move. I always plan way in advance of these type of things. I have my mind set on a 15 ZL1 vert. Not decided on color. Not concrete on auto or stick, wife wants auto of course. Will continue to read and learn and ask questions. |

Ashen Grey Metallic (AGM) would be my choice (Oh that's the color of our car) and I would only get a stick. My wife drove a stick in her Toyota years so it was OK with her. We'll wait for news AND PICTURES.

Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to the HTCC. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.
 oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

Welcome bro! Hot rods are fun!! As are motorcycles lol. My first couple of sports cars were 6 speeds..I really enjoy driving a manual car that has lots of power. But I actually wanted an auto when I went searching for my dream camaro. My car kind of fell into my lap, worked out great. It's not a zl1 but it is supercharged. Kind of like it cause it looks just like any regular SS..but when I mash the gas you know that blower is there! I'm more into drag racing that's mainly why I wanted the auto. Plus I also drive an eighteen wheeler with 15 gears so it's nice just cruising in my hot rods without worrying about shifting. Guess for me pushing 40 is more like those days are behind me lol.
