Last bump. I installed 4.0 (not the beta) and I still see %99.6 dc on the fuel pump at idle, and all other times.

I'll email HPTuners support or start a thread there.

I was logging the wrong channel. Change the channel to the “Fuel Pump Commanded DC” under the FSCM and now its good.

Thanks Dave.

That's nuts to run plastic sensor that close to the headers, but whatever.

There's many ways to run a stock GM Ethanol sensor. Here's mine.

I might have $65 invested.

BTW, normal Michigan gas is around 10% Ethanol.

I basically have to ask for HPT to fix the FP DC bug every time they update the software. I gave up. Must be an E38 thing.

Yea I realize I could have bought the sensor and ran the wiring, but I chose to pay for convenience this time. Pick your battles...

As for the fp dc, its working fine now that im logging the right channel.

Just curious, do you run a modified FPCM with your setup? Buy it? Or mod it yourself?

Straining my memory reserves here, but I think I changed the Fuel Sensor type from Virtual to Sensor. It's in the Flex Fuel tab.
