Off road pipes or high flow cats
Is it that much of a horsepower difference between the 2 on bolt on applications?

From what I’ve read an off-road pipe gets you about 1-2 hp over high flow cats.

^^^^This. There's been tests done and the difference is about 1-2rwhp and that discrepancy could be contributed to a number of minor different things.

Thanks that’s why I trust the people here. Others say it’s a 10-15hp difference and did not believe that it could be that much.

My 78 firebird was catless and the fumes got to me after a while lol. But I agree catless does sound better but my car sounds awesome as is right now and very loud.

It's not bad on mine. I only smell it if I have my windows down and stop at a red light
