Oil temp/level sensor problem

I took my car in to get the tranny rebuilt. Car has 105k miles on it. I get that done and the transmission is working fine. However I barely drove around the block and I got a code on the dash to add oil and the oil temp wasn’t reading. I pulled over and checked the oil level, it was fine. I picked up the car right at closing and after I checked the oil and everything the shop had closed. I called them the next day and took it back to them. They said it was just the sensor that needed to be replaced. I took the car home and changed the sensor. I still have the same issue. Is there anything that they could have disconnected or done during the tranny rebuild that could be causing this? A plug or a ground that’s around the tranny that not installed that I should look for? Or is there somewhere else I should be checking?

I googled it..... there was stuff for oil pressure issues involving a screen but not level/temp. I also read on some corvette forums that it might take a couple of engine cycles to reset. Is that applicable to the Camaro as well?

The oil level/temp sensor is in the side of the oil pan. Is that the one you changed?
The screen is under the oil pressure sensor there’s no screen for the oil level/temp sensor
The LS engines do have oil pressure sensor clogging screen issues but this has nothing to do with level/temp

I changed the level/temp sensor. Kinda middle of the oil pan on the passenger side, easy to get to.

check g106 passenger head and G103 at EBCM
blk/wh wire at connector is the ground circuit for the level sensor

I would think if it was a issue with the ground circuit you would be having more issues then just the oil level sensor. G106 is a major ground for the PCM,VSS,A/T, starter relay
etc.....

@ghetto6dude
Did you ever get to the bottom of this?
I'm having the same issue after getting the vehicle back from the transmission shop. In addition I'm also getting a service power steering message and loosing power steering as well.
