We finally had a good day (not raining/storming) and no place we needed to be so we could get my truck that I bought from my dad, & washed & waxed. I am tired, but it feels good. Daddy's Girl got a good bath, cleaner wax & Glaze & Sealer (Mother's). My brother-in-law gave us the Mother's 3 step kit for Christmas for us to use on our Camaros. We didn't want to use it on our Camaros so we decided to use it on Daddy's Girl. I now know how it got the name Mother's..............That Glaze & sealer is a Mother to take off!. But is does look good when it is finally off. Tomorrow we do the Carnuba wax.

This thread brings back memories of my "Annual" detailing for my dad when he was alive. He didn't put much effort into keeping his truck clean much less waxed. Every year I would pick up his truck the day before his birthday and spend the entire day bringing it back to life. Thanks for posting!

Thanks guys. Today we did the Carnuba, polished up the chrome & put on the lighted GMC trailor hitch (lights up with the brake lights) with the locking pin my dad had on the old hitch, cleaned up & painted with chrome paint. Now she just needs the undercarrage cleaned up some, an alignment, and we will switch the wheels/tires from the Yukon onto it. Then Mike has to decide if he wants to sell the Yukon or buy it some tires. Here are a few more pics from today's results.
