ZL1 Fuel Pump with BAP

I've tried searching, but can't find a definitive answer. Will a ZL1 pump with a MSD BAP, along with ID850 injectors support 650RWHP?

I know the preferred setup is the LPE twin pump, but I am trying to see if the ZL1 pump that I already installed was a waste of time and money...

Yes it will, easily. But if your going to go for much more you will need a twin set up. Nice choice of injectors.

Yeah I also think you will be fine the LPE twin pump is a better choice, but I think the ZL-1 pump is under estimated. I continue reading about modifided ZL-1 Camaros using the stock pump and pushing it over 650 rwhp. Check out August issue of GM High-Tech where Redline Motorsports pushed their ZL-1 Camaro to 654 rwhp and 624 rwtq with the stock pump and it ran a 10.34 at 134. They even bumped up the boost on race gas and got 730 rwhp to run a 10.23 at 138.94

I will be installing the ZL-1 fuel pump with the MSD BAP that I already have when I get my cam installed. hope to be at 650 rwhp. Good Luck with your build.

I have the Edelbrock supercharger and I just got the ZL1 pump 60 pound injectors and 3" pulley and along with everything eles I have should be pushing around 650 RWHP and everyone I have talked to about the ZL1 pump says that it is good for at least 650 to 700 RWHP. You will be fine man. I'm getting everything installed next week and will get the exact numbers.

Be sure to post your results!!! I'm curious if those 60# injectors will be enough. Seems that everyone reccommends the ID85, but everything I read says that the 60# is plenty

With a ZL1 Fuel Pump and ID850's you will be fine for 650rwhp. No BAP needed. Should only be around 58%IDC as well.

As far as how close I am to maxing out the pump... I have no idea. Ted assured me that this is a safe setup and after 2800 miles of "Very spirited driving" I have had no issues.(I do add Torco to my fuel). Dynos are hard to come by in Alaska but my projected numbers should be around 650 RWHP.
