Injectors are rated at 3bar of pressure or about 43psi. The Camaro has a 4bar system that runs at 58psi stock. Those 60# injectors are actually running around 70# before you even add the BAP to the equation. The ID850 is a great injector, and comes with data to make the tuning much easier and more precise. That's why the tuners recommend them. They are expensive though.

ZL1 with 850's and BAP should be MORE than enough fuel. I'm at 670rwhp with stock fuel pump, BAP and 60# injectors. Add in a ZL1 and 850's... sky's the limit (unless lines need upgrading). Honestly, I would say the ZL1 with BAP and 850's should be good for close to 900-950hp... just a guess. If I'm running stock with BAP and 60#'s at about 770 to the motor... take your best guess.

I have a G8, ProCharged and did 576rwhp through E85 on ZL1 pump. Now, I have a DOD delete/cam swap and thinking I'll max out ZL1 pump through E85 around 650hp on E85. I went ahead and ordered a BAP.

Has anyone else run E85 at 650hp through ZL1 pump?

Update: I am running the ZL1 pump with no BAP with FIC850 injectors. Made 635RWHP and have plenty of fuel!

I know the preferred setup is the LPE twin pump, but I am trying to see if the ZL1 pump that I already installed was a waste of time and money...
AFR is not an indication of enough fuel what you must do is Log your Fuel Pressure both on the Dyno and at the Track to know for sure.

Every car and part combination will be different and we can only offer General guide lines, drawing on Tons of Experience.

I have run this combo at 640 RWHP but the fuel pressure does drop about 8 PSI which is Not Desirable.

Anytime we do a Cam Blower combo we jump right to the LPE Twin Pump.

When I had my car on the dyno we logged fuel pressure, AFR, and had a mechanical fuel pressure gauge installed at the fuel rail. Lowest the fuel pressure dropped to was 54 psi. This was while under 9.5 pounds of boost.

By right fuel pressure should remain at 4 bar or 58-60 PSI

The LPE Twin pump system raises fuel pressure to 70 PSI typically around 4000 RPM depending on the calculated Load value in the ECM.

When the fuel pressure drops in the Rail you have to compensate with Longer injector opening times.

53 PSI in the Rail becomes 43.5 PSI at the injector tip at 9.5 PSI boost.

Again just because you made a number and your AFR was OK on the Dyno does not mean you have enough fuel supply.

What happens on a longer pull with a 1/4 tank of Gas would blow your mind or your motor.

What do you guys think of a BAP and ZL1 for around 850rwhp. ID850s as well. Or is that a LPE Twin territory?

Hell, I'm shooting for 700 RWHP this spring and I'm doing either ADM or LPE and ID850s.
