What a sweet Camaro!!!! I graduated HS in 1989.

My current wife was born in 1985. Many of you have seen pics.

My 1st car was a 1981 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Holiday which was a rare package. Hi back buckets, mag wheels, and a center floor console between the seats with the automatic shifter. Not the one I miss, just my first.

I miss some of my motorcycles, not really any cars although the 928 S was sweet.

Yeah, it could be that the purple doesn't show in pictures.

Absolutely. I wish I never would have sold my 1965 Impala SS that had a 327 in it hooked up to a Muncie 4 speed. That thing was badass and ran like a raped ape!!!

I was also rather sad when years later I had acquired a numbers matching 1965 Impala SS 396 that I had to sell in the middle of restoration due to family hardship.

That's life!!!!!

Man oh man...My first new car I ever got was my 86 Fiero GT. Loved that car. I got into restoring cars and the one I regret getting rid of the most to this day is my 23' T-bucket with a big ol 400 Buick. One of a kind. And my last restore was a very rare 57 Pontiac Pathfinder. Built in Canada and came originally with a Chevy engine. Redid the whole car. A real eye turner at the shows because no one knew what is was. Ran on some tough times and had to sell her. Buuuut, now I have my new girl....happy again

OP, my "wish- I- never- sold- it" car is similar to yours... my '76 Cutlass. So many adventures. Got my first piece of tail there, got clocked by CHP at 135 one time, traveled and drove modified and learned about life. It was lifted in the back, with tires a foot wide on aluminum slots.
When I see the occasional '76 these days, I am strongly tempted to make an offer to whoever is fortunate enough to be behind the wheel of that beast.

I always had a soft spot for the 1973 Cutlass as it was the first of the “colonnade” body style. My dad had 2 1976 Delta 88’s and was the car I took my drivers test on. I have lots of fond Oldsmobile memories.

I also miss my gen 4 T/A. It is currently for sale again, but the guy I sold it to really messed it up with mods.

Sometimes I miss my 1978 Camaro Type LT. It was my first car and basically given to me in 1998 from my Aunt. It was in the family since the early 80's until I sold it in late 2010. There wasn't anything special about it (not a Z28 and had a stock 350/350 drivetrain, etc.) but it was sentimentally special to me. I learned a lot about cars with it and the car was very clean for a soft bumper 2nd gen Camaro.
My 2011 SS is more fun to drive than my old 1978 so I can't complain too much.

Mid-day in direct sun at the right angle there is a slight purple color. Although I could take a hundred pics and probably not get a single one good enough to show you. My neighbor laughed at me after I got my car I would walk around it and enjoy the color show, lol..
