Looking For Friends In Lee County Florida - Ft. Myers - Cape Coral - Punta Gorda Area

Hi People.

My name is Jim, Married to my Wonderful & Understanding Wife Angie, No Kids, Just a Jack Russell Terrier by the name of Jack, He seems to like it .
I live in North Cape Coral, Right off of Del Prado, a couple blocks from Hancock.

I have a Black 2SS on order, It's Build week is this Monday 1/11/2010 which means that I should be getting it shortly.

I'm Pretty Damn Excited!
I can't Imagine what you guys went through the day you went to go and actually picked up your car.

I'm disabled due to having 4 back surgeries, 2 back fusions and 1 neck fusion so there are things that I want done to my Camaro that I'm going to have to take in to town and have to pay someone to do for me.

I want to buy an Intake and Hand Held Tuner, Probably a SuperChips (Once they hit the Dealers Full Time) which i can do myself but when it comes to the Exhaust I'm going to have problems with.

I know everyone likes either ARH or Kooks but,... Man, What the Hell is the Size of the Box that all of that stuff comes in?

Is all of that stuff Bolted or Welded Together?

Will all of it Fit inside of the Camaro so that I can take it to where I'm going to have it installed at?

Where in Ft. Myers or Cape Coral can I have them install my Headers and Exhaust System?

I know for the last 8-9 Years I've been having Lee County Mufflers there on Fowler install all of my Mufflers on all of my Trucks, They do a Great Job (See My Garage For Pic's) I forget the Garage that Installed my Headers off of 41 in Ft. Myers and I was Never Really a Big Fan of that Guy at Performance Plus on Fowler in Ft. Myers, I think he's the Owner there I forget his name.

Anyone happen to know how much they Charger per hour to do installs there at Performance Plus on Fowler.

I had my Dodge Dakota Dyno'ed a couple times down off of Hansen near Metro, The guy was a Big Corvette Person, That was a long time ago I'd have to look him up again if I'd want to go back to him again.

But mostly how big is the box that the Exhaust comes in and where would I take it to around our area to have it installed and I hope that we can all get together a BUNCH of times and go Eat some Pizza or something.

If you have any Tip or Suggestions for me for when I go and Pick my Camaro up that Wonderful Day I would Very Much Appreciate It.

I know that they go over a lot with you guys so you have all been through it already so i just dont want to be tricked in to anything on accident with OnStar Subscription or what ever.

sup black, im in fort.myers, drive a ABM 1lt, you may see it if you drive around gulf coast town center, edison college/41, daniels and colonial. but im not too sure about the installations of where to get them put, hope the ride comes soon!

Yep Tampa is about 2 Hours North, Straight Up 75 from me.

How are you liking your Black SS?
What Upgrade or Mods have you done so far with it?
Did you get the Stock Wheel Package or the Upgraded, I believe Unpainted Wheels Package for like $450 or something on your car?

Yep my Build Week is Suppose to Start today Monday 01/11/10 so I'm hoping that everyone is back from their Vacation at the build plant and I finally get an update from camarotracking.com this Wednesday (Cross Fingers). I havent had an update from them in several weeks now (See My Sig).

I can't wait to get my car but for every week that goes by,... It gives me a chance to save that much more money to put down as a down payment for when the time does come when the Car finally does get here.

I would LOVE to have an Extra $4000 after the Purchase though so that I can get a Full Exhaust System, Cold Air Intake, Hand Held Tuner and a Ram Air Hood that I've been looking at and having it Painted.

But,.. Wanting and Having is two toally different things so we'll see .

i live in naples and i am a mechanic for a living. i love my new camaro and just getting ready to install my headers. no the box wont fit in your camaro for sure. you get the camaro down here to naples on a weekend and i can put them on for you. love to talk and work on cars maybe even a few beers. have a lift we can use.

Hey Cape Coral, Im right on your door step, I live at the end of 24ave off Hancock. I ordered my Yellow SS2 with silver stripes A6 trans.Orderd on Feb 14,2009 received on July 4 2009. Love the car nad the people i purchased it from Estero Bay Chevorlet, great salesperson, honest all the way.No bullshit like when i first tryed to buy the car from both Roger Dean and Victory Lane.Good luck. were you driving near 41/pagefield in fort myers today by any chance? I keep seeing a RJT around colonial/41

hey guys no that wasnt me around pagefeild im a week end i dony have time to drive around during the week.But the good thing is every time i get in the car its like a new experience. Cape is were i cruise.But like to go to key largo or up to st armands beach in sarasota.I havent seen another rally yellow with silver stripes yet and im all over the place in my business.I am definitly going to the bradenton dyno on the 23rd maybe i will see you there. hd48

Hey Bud, Did you ever get your Headers Installed? Got Any Pic's Link's? Which brand Did you go with?

I dont know if you caught it in my first post up there but I'm disabled due to a Bad Back and Neck,.. I mean I can move around and stuff, I just cant get down on my hands and knee's and on my Back under a Car like i use to be able to to turn a Wrench any more Bud,... But I would love to come down and check you ride out or what have ya,... It would be Great if I could get someone to install my headers for me.

Hell Yeah,... I'm from Detroit. I moved down here in `86 but we lived off of 9 1/2 and Gratiot. It was East Detroit then, Now i think it's called East Pointe or something,... Good Ole (313). Yeah I bet it's Cold as $hit up there right about now,... I still have some family up and around that area still. They say it's pretty damn cold.

So your having a Camaro Dyno over there in Bradenton eh?? Yeah Bradenton is only about an hour from me straight north up I-75. $399 seems like a bit much for a Dyno Run,.. What kind of Tune do you get?

Is it anything that you can take with you as well as the Original Codes home incase you have to go to the dealership you can install the old codes back in oof of a Lap Top or something?

That would be something i might seriously look in to, I have this older laptop that I dont use anymore that I think would be perfect for just such a thing to use it for. Is that Possible? Do you Sell the Required Cords to do that with?

Damn Brother,.. So do you live off of 24 ave off Hancock eh? I think thats pretty close to me,... I tried to find 24th Ave using MapQuest but i couldnt find any in Cape Coral although i'm sure that there are plenty of them,... I live off NE 23rd Place so I think we live like REALLY Close to each other Bud.

I tried both of those Dealerships also and I didnt have any luck at neither one until i went to Estero Bay Chevy. Those Guys there are Awesome.
