I watch it.......and so far, the ceo's eye's get opened and appreciate the workers. It gives them a whole new view point.

I like the show, but its not completely "reality". There is a film crew following the CEO around and this effects the way people act. Even if they think the crew is there for another reason, the employees are not going to act the way the would normally act.
Anyone that has ever worked at a large corporation knows that they will be made aware when any film crew is going to be onsite and are "advised" to dress and act a certain way. |

I really like the show, it's awesome.
The big bosses on top of various companies, whether they work in the field with their employees or spend their days in the boardrooms should really get to know their workers before they decide who should go home and whether they should cut their employees salaries. As the show shows, some people are doing 2 or 3 different jobs The russian guy driving for 7/11 was pretty funny but also happened to have a lot of insight |

I love this show, just goes to prove not all problems can be solved by sitting in a desk making rules for your company.

I love it, it always chokes me up each time I watch it...
I think it should be required for all CEOs to be 'Undercover bosses' for a week in their companies so they can see what 'the little guy' does...you can motivate people to work harder for you and your company if you treat them the same way you want to be treated, IMHO... (p.s. Jamie, don't be so cynical...j/k )

I havent missed a week of it, its great. kinda ticked off that they did a rerun the other week though.
they got a 2nd season that they are filming now so I think it would be good. If you havent watched the show. its about the CEO going under cover as someone being layed off, or fired from their former jobs (normally nothing to deal with the company that they are looking in to getting into.) trying out 6-7 jobs with in the company. sometimes they get fired sometimes they just look as it as a temp. but they work with the every day people that do their jobs just like the rest of us. So far the people that they bosses end up working with, has giving away money for college, for medical, home repaire & setting up day care for single parents. I have seen one person after the fact leave a company. for those nay sayers, if you go in to a place & there are cameras you are goign to not act the way you normally are. If you are a total butt head you would act nice & polite. belive me

It's a great show. I'm watching on Hulu right now.
I'd really love to see some of the higher-ups at GM do something like this...unfortunately, it's way too risky for manufacturing industries.
