You paid in advance? If not, you ARE asking too much if you want ALL the info on it. Do you want to know who made each nut, bolt, and screw? Who made the glass? Who made the brake pads? Who made the headliner? The seat covers? I think you need a job inside GM to meet your "ALL" criteria, and even then, if you're in the wrong dept, you'll still be unhappy!

All the relevent info has been made available as to what the car comes with.
Technical details like the rod journal diameter and angle of cut on the gears in the transmission and anything else you want to know will take some digging on the owners part. I don't think anything is out of the ordinary here.

Yes when you are basically pre-ordering a car. I believe it was something we were willing to accept in exchange at getting a rare 2012 MY.

.

Perhaps I never say anything, but rather imply many things.

Perhaps when people aren't allowed to give the official specifications for a product, but are given leeway to converse with the enthusiastic public, they may employ the same tactic, for prudence sake.

We definitely know what has been announced about the ZL1, and that I will state emphatically and with no reservation, is enough for me to trust in, enough to spend my money on, and enough to convince me to purchase the most fear-inducing production Camaro ever.

Edit: Perhaps I should have been a freakin' lawyer.

Not of course not, that is silly as well, but yes I would like to know ALL the features, options etc before I order a car that's all.
I really don't think it's too much to ask especially these days and how accessible information is.

Sounds like some of you are actually upset that people ask these questions about their own purchases.

I am not blaming anyone or trying to force anyone here, The fact is a couple articles had GM execs stating "there is more to come stay tuned" and Fbod has stated it here on this board. All i am saying is the car is so close to be released why not divulge this information now rather than wait?

I heard there were going to be three keys.
The second key unlocks another 100hp, and the third key just has a label that says.

Oh WOW!

The $2K GAS CARDS with every ZL1 purchase?
Old news!

100rwhp increase on production ZL1s?
So? Everyone knows that!

100% breakage warranty for TRACK use?
Well, duh!

...it could happen, kinda sorta maybe... maybe not!

*magic8ball: Is CHEVY going to deliver my ZL1 soon or not?
A resounding YES!
Thank you magic8ball... I knew that I could count on you!

I would eat a nugget of my own poop and post it on YouTube if this comes true.

That would be so awesome

Sounds like some of the info wanted is very specific. Such as"I thought I read a 9.5-inch ring and pinion and a higher-count joint package for the CV joints. I would like to learn more about the tranny/rear diff' cooling and exhaust pipe size.".

Did any of you know this sort of information before the 5th gen hit the market? Buying something before it's officially out has risks involved...isn't that the risk for being first in something like this?

I don't know, I personally think that this is all she wrote. The only thing I can think of is some track pack option which includes the pilot sport tires and a few other things dubbed the z/28.

I just don't know what else can be offered or what else can be hidden as of now? Wouldn't the reviews have caught the secrets if there were any?
