I've got over 10k on mine, no problems with the intake................
the FAST was just too much money and I didn't flow enough air to take advantage of it. plus it looked too flashy for me. although when the Holley mid rise looked like it would fit, I was considering it. the mid rise would look bad @$$, not flashy though.

I have mine for over 1 1/2 years and about 15,000 miles and about 40 1/4 mile passes. No issues. Well worth the money. One of GPI's 1st!

Glad to hear that people aren't having any problems with this intake mod, but did anyone consistantly pick up 1-2 mph at the track?

I personally did not do a back to back 1/4 mile test only because of track availability. I did however make logs of acceleration from 30mph to 90 mph of both intakes back to back in the same spot with the same conditions. The result did net a gain of .317 seconds from 30 - 90 mph compared to the stock manifold. That is a lot if you ask me. I would guess you would see some sort of solid gain in MPH at the track. I can send you the logs if you want to see for yourself but you can search around the internet and you will find there are others that found the same gains as I did with logging acceleration between to different MPH's. Some actually found more!

We have installed prochargers on customers cars after we had previously modded the intake and haven't had any issues with up to 15 psi of boost. The rowdier the setup is, the more it shines.

Do you remove the center post's in your intake?

I didn't do only the intake mod by itself so I can't say exactly what just that specific mod gained. But I can say that my dyno got better, my ET and mph got better.

Hi every one. When the modded manifold is installed on the engine, are there any external clues as to the intake being modded?

One small nut on either side of the intake right behind the throttle body opening. It holds the front of the radius bar in place.

Like BFast posted, there's the nut on either side of the TB opening. It's not noticeable unless you look back there. Mine has black RTV covering it to prevent leaking. Makes it even more unnoticeable.
