Nice pulley!
3.70 is interesting.... all the more reason to pulley down and manage boost with wastegate for torque!

LOL, I hear ya Quicrnu! Maybe one of these days I will be able to swing an LSX. The F-1X made 1000 hp at 18.5 psi . . . wonder what it would make at 25 or even 30 psi?

I haven't even made a first blast in it yet and you want me to sell, lol. Honestly, twins would have probably been a cheaper install but I just don't like the sound of a turbo car. Plus, there will be a little bit of wow factor when the hood is popped and that big cog drive is staring at you

Very educated I would suspect!
Actually, my shop said that 1500 rwhp is possible with the F-1X

Well for all of you that are still hanging around until the bitter end of this build thread, I have a little bit of updated info for you.
After the shop installed the ATI Supertensioner/Sprag (which is a bit smaller than the original top pulley) the Camaro was tuned to the ID 1700X injectors and then hit the dyno. Everything went pretty smooth until 6500 RPM, then between 6500 and 7000 RPM the boost pressure went from 15 to 20 psi and the HP shot to the moon. Here is the bottom line, the RPM limiter had to be lowered from 7000 to 6500 RPM. With the limiter set this way the car makes 900 RWHP at 15 psi. I don't have the charts yet but I will be getting them soon and will post up for your viewing pleasure. I know you guys are going to say that I should be spinning it and using a waste gate to control psi but this is the least expensive approach to fix the issue and we will try this first, however this is always subject to change if it doesn't work. I guess it turns out that the F-1X is just too much blower for the application I am using it for. I basically have it's hands tied to only make 900 HP

Nice man, yea the F-1X is a BEAST for sure. Just make sure to stay off the limiter! Since you are manual, the pressure is on you!!
I want to see some Time Slips eventually! That thing is very intimidating! haha.... when people look under my hood, they are like..... I thought you said it was supercharged !! Obviously they weren't chevy people, shame they wouldn't put any money on the race either! The other good news is you shouldn't outgrow the blower setup! You may want different, but its hard to outgrow 1500rwhp!

"Limited" to 900 hp....lol.
Must be nice! Hope you get it the way you want. Here's a question..... why did the horsepower/boost jump at 6500? And why is that a problem? I know, I am new to boost and just curious...

If you really want more detail I would suggest doing a Google search for the various type of blowers to see how they make boost.

The shop owner took it for a spin with the 4.11 gear still in it. He said it was crazy. They dropped the rear tires to 18 psi and still blew them off until 3rd gear. He said when it finally grabbed though it was ON!! I think the 3.70 gears being installed will help but the shop is also trying to talk me into a 15" rear wheel conversion since I have everything already in place with the BMR suspension package. All I need is the brake conversion kit. I will have to think that one over. I hate losing those IOM powder coated Brembos but realize that the 15" wheel opens up many possibilities for some good soft rubber!

That thing is a beast for sure! But I can see it now! You are gonna end up forged within a year. The itch to feed that F1-X will get you. LOL! It has been tough for me not to build my engine yet! My turbos are always asking for more! Good thing the WG and EBC are holding them back!
