I bought mine from TireRack.com. After much agonizing, I settled on an all around 10" wide set of 20" wheels and 275/35ZR20 Continental Extreme DWS tires ( All weather ). Those tires work well for my climate, hold the road in adverse conditions, have good tread wear, and have a good road hazard warranty.

I almost went with the 11" rear wheels and a 315 setup (the front tire size will be different for that setup, please consult with one of their salespeople). I've read that some of the 1LE owners have liked that setup.

Another option is to buy a set of 20" SS wheels from someone and put your winter tires on those.

[Edit] If you are researching smaller than 20" wheels, here are a couple threads I found ( I am not offering advice, only links): http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=287036
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...r+skate+brakes

I hope this helps!

Any idea where? I'd like to read that. I too will need winter tires later in the year!

You can also order them from SAMs for about $310.

So that's for the front?

They would include the install for free and 20 bucks for balancing so this may be the best deal. Then there would be tax and it looks like we're going to pay that for internet transactions now anyway so what the heck. 360 installed.

Yeah hell even if you do find a better price online its going to probably cost you more in the long run anyway due to shipping and then paying someone else to mount and balance.

That's interesting because I couldn't find them on the Walmart/Sam's website. Did you call or walk-in for the info?

Thanks!

Yup... that's exactly what I had to do. I've replaced both right side tires due to sidewall nails and such and had no choice but to order as no one stocks them.

Of course, Goodyear themselves have them at pure MSRP, which is waaay over what Discount Tire charged me.

Anyone know of another source for our tires? I want to stay with the factory Goodyear F1 Supercar G2 tires as long as I can.

It makes me wonder if the factory is buying most of Goodyear's output leaving the replacement market dry... I've been a Deputy Sheriff for a long time and years ago we couldn't get Goodyear Eagle RSAs in quantity because they said that the Ford factory was buying a lot to place OEM on new Crown Vics (CVPI.)

Thanks!

Heard nothing but great things about these bad boys. That's why I am getting them. Also TireRack has Toyo R888s in that size.

"Dude"...? Is that necessary? I only asked a question...seriously, indeed. No reason to insult me.

Take care,

Hey, Y'all. I changed my statement about 19" wheels in post 15. A friend gently nudged me to check my facts and I found that I was not totally correct; >>cough, cough<<.

So I just posted a couple related links.

These are what I plan to go with, they seem like a much better tire! better tread wear and they won't crack in the cold!!! Goodyear can keep the tires as far as I am concerned, they stick great when warm, but living in New Mexico with over 300 days of sunshine.........it gets cold, but with no snow or ice I do intend on driving my car and Goodyears won't cut it.
