RPI Splitter installed
Hey guys. Ordered an RPI Splitter last Thursday, shipped on Friday and received Wednesday. Dropped it off for paint that day and picked it up/installed it yesterday.
Fit and finish were great, the painter said it was finished very well. I bought it directly from RPI for $272 shipped after using coupon code "Camaro5" for a 10% discount. Install took less than an hour with my sister's help. The hardest part was getting the nuts on the two center bolts and the two next to them...not much clearance to reach up inside from underneath. Here's some pics:

dude that looks good! I am thinking about getting the same for mine. So the install wasn't too bad? I read some people said it'd be easier with the front fascia off but that sounds like a lot of work. Did you remove the front fascia?

RPI splitter install
I installed mine without removing the facia-the most forward bolt was a stretch(couldnt get my arm in) but I notched a paint stirer to hold the nut until the bolt started to thread then piece of cake

Thanks. Not bad at all to install. My car is lowered, so I jacked up each side to drill the holes and bolt it up. The two inner most bolts were hard to get in, so I was only using 8 of the 10 bolts for a while....I had my car on a lift to do an oil change a week after I installed the splitter and installed them then.
To answer your question, yes, it would be much easier with the fascia removed, but it's not necessary. Go for it!!!!

Looks great. Is that an SLP splitter clone? How much does it extend forward?

It's a ZL1 clone. If I remember right, it sticks out a little bit less than the SLP does.

Great choice! Compliments your ride perfectly! I installed mine a few months ago and have never looked back!

Looks awesome. I have the same splitter but it's hydro dipped. I think these cars look so much better with one.
