#120 finally arrives

At long last I took delivery of my Z/28 here in Luxembourg.

Finally took delivery. In typical Lux fashion it was damp today, having been sunny for bloody weeks.

First "running in" impressions

Great noise, after pulling the bi modal fuse
Suspension set up is great on the smooth roads over here
Gearbox is astonishingly light, but engaging, compared to my 2012 SS
No major tram lining from the big front tyres
Carbon brakes not grabby, and good bite although not properly bedded in yet
Recaros are a big improvement over the standard seats
The kids on the street all turn and stare
I haven't managed to cut any pedestrians off at the ankles with the scythe of aero
On the same theme I have managed to get in and out of both work and home garage ramps without scraping anything yet
Great noise!

So cool to see one across the pond. Very curious on the shipping you used to get it there.

Did you arrange the shipping. I work 2 weeks a month in Europe and might want to bring my car over here.

I cannot remember where or whom mentioned it, or I read it. Isn't it around 1800.00 USD to ship our cars to Europe?

I used to go to Lux frequently, I was always surprised at some of the American muscle I see on the streets given the price of fuel! Of course it's also different seeing guys in full face helmets and track leathers getting off Harley Davidson Road Kings! (In the USA it's no helmet, jeans and sometimes a jacket if it's not too hot. LOL)

Absolutely, who doesn't love the sound of a V8?

No, was done via the local importer.

Agree, there's a strong Corvette club in particular.
