Thanks guys. Pick it up tonight. Pic was from our final test drive. Very excited. Kind of figuring the days of a big V8 powered sedan are.................affordable V8 powered sedan.........are running short. Even the venerable M3/M4 are now TT sixes. V-sport TT six.............not the end of days but just thought it would be worth the move. I really love the S4 and am sad to move from it. Tough to beat that little 3L SC with a 7 speed DCT. But nothing an LS3 shouldn't cure.

You haven't had the S4 that long, but this SS is one heck of a sedan. If I had a need for one this would be it.

A year and a half.....a long time for me. I'm an addict and there is only one cure.

I'm not getting my ignition fixed. I can keep my knees to myself.

Ok, now I am having many thoughts that I used to find amusement in over the years on Camaro5.

1 - I am having reservations on having the holes drilled for the front plate. At first I was like, "why would you prep a car for delivery in Illinois and not put the plate bracket on". "Well sir some of our customers with high end cars (Camaro, Corvette) ask us not to drill the holes". I never cared on the two Audis or Mrs. Number 3's ATS. NOW I CARE

2 - I have a tremendous fear now that I've bought it that 2015 will bring the LT1 and an 8 speed. I doubt they would change it after a year and the LS3 stays in production for at least the 2015 Camaro buhhhtttttt the Corvette powertrain would make this a more awesome car.

Holes are personal choice. There are a some quick release plate holders available.

You above all others should know the complexity of upgrading a vehicle to a new motor that is going pout of production soon. Based on all you have taught me and from what little I hear about the future og GM AU Holden I am 98% certain there is no LT1 in the SS future.
