Z/28 intake / brake cooling ducts and ZL1 brakes installed
I would just like to take a moment and applaud GM performance for offering these parts for sale and that they fit so well on our cars. Nothing quite like the fit and finish of a factory part. I installed all of these parts in under four hours it's so easy.
I didn't take the front facia off the car like the instructions asked me to for the brake ducts. Once the wheel well liners were out I could trim the radiator intake piece from there using a hand held sawzall blade. This was only possible because the trim line is marked on the piece from the factory. The Z/28 ducts may not be the best cooling solution available but these sure are the best looking solution available. The ZL1 brakes bolt right on and a quick bleed and you are done just like that. The Z/28 intake same thing. It took all of 15 minutes to get the stock one out and this one in! I hope that GM Performance continues this excellent support for all future performance car platforms! I didn't take any pics yet but I will when I get it back on the lift. |

Good to hear, I plan on doing these exact same mods, but want to add the diff cooler and GMPP exhaust.

Diff cooler is on my list. My plan is to try and keep the car stock with only the GM performance parts added.
