the dash ones are super easy, they just pop out/in. The door ones you have to take the door panels and swap the panels out.

Ordered mine yesterday, can't wait to get em!

Any word on the panels with ABL yet? I was looking at my panels with the ABL and if I'm not mistaken, wouldn't you just have to mask the edges of the panel & dash strips before you paint then in order for the ABL to show though?

Yup, that's what most people are doing. The dash pieces don't the top edge to be taped off. Even with the ABL dash DIY mod because its a gap that allows the light to shine.

I wish there was a way to remove the existing color and paint them from the back like the factory panels are. It would look better IMO. Or at least be able to buy clear unpainted pieces.

I didn't know that about the dash strips, thanks for the 411 Paul. I agree about being able to paint from the back, that would elevate any sort of scratches too. I definitely want to do my strip & panels black, but want to keep the ABL...I'll hold off a little longer, see what someone comes up with, if not just another project for River City Creations to do for me.

Yes sir. no problem. The dash can be done multiple ways, some sand the back to allow the light through others allow for a tiny gap.

The only problem I see with taping along the top of the door panels is that you may be able to see the silver color of the panel through the top clear portion, it may need to be sanded off of the back of the panel in order to prevent this. Easy fix. It's too bad RPI can't get clear panels from Gm and paint the back then attach the clip strip along the back of the dash panels. That would be awesome. Maybe they can negotiate a deal with GM for a large quantity deal.
