I need recommendations for an exhaust!
I've been given the go ahead (not that I needed it...lol) to change out the stock exhaust! I watched numerous Youtube videos this weekend trying to decide just what kind of exhaust to go with, and researching all over the internet as well and searching here on C5. I don't want to change out the entire exhaust system at this point...just thinking either axle back or cat back.
Would you guys give me some ideas on what you like and suggest? I don't want anything obnoxiously loud, but I do want some nice rumble...certainly better than the stock exhaust. I had a Gibson axel back on my V6 that I traded in, and that sounded better than the V8 stock. I will also be adding a cold air intake and it seems that Cold Air Inductions gets good reviews. I had a K&N on my V6 and wasn't all that impressed. I'm looking for one with the cover on it and CAI has that. Anyway, any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. |

Why did you put this in the classifieds? Stick to the big names. Corsa, Borla, MagnaFlow....

Borla atak, in stead of the cat back system, just buy the mufflers the whole system is about 1,600.00, but u can go to any muffler shop and have them cut the resonator off which is what keeps it quiet and run a straight pipe, because the system is the mufflers with pipes, it will cause 150.00 to run those 2 little sections of pipe and you've built your own Cat back

Diablo predator, will make your car run and sound like a race car, along with borla atak and K&n intake unbelievable, have the 4 cylinder idle cut off with predator and have it idle at 8 my SS blows the doors off so many cars even some corvettes, I had it uo to 160mph. Before I ran out of room, sounds sooo good I don't even listen to music just the engine

If you have an auto I would go with Corsa. The Corsa system has no drone.

Consider the NPP system. Easy installation. They are dual mode, but sound fine without hooking up any controls. I did this to my first 1LE (pictured below), and would do it again in a heartbeat.
And like some other replies, I just happen to have one available as an axle back. |

I second this I love my corsa . Although the NPP is a great option also. I have my npp for sale. I can let go for $650 plus shipping and I can cut and ship just the axle backs to save on shipping. Just let me know.
