AF pretty much out played Michigan if not for 2 big plays by Denard.....Michigan will suck this year

Manziel was a stud in HS, was sought by a few of the big schools and verbally commited to Oregon before deciding to go to TAMU. Seeing him tonight, he is raw but I think he has a great future at TAMU.

False start on 1st play, so what?...Dallas did that on Wednesday to start the NFL season. If pros can do it, I think it's ok for 19 year old kids, lol.

However....

Starting in the SEC west,
with a redshirt freshman @QB,
under a new head coach,
defense switched from 4-3 to 3-4,
losing to a ranked SEC team by 3...

I see a LOT of upside to Sumlin's Aggies.

Choke you say? If they had that La Tech "warm up" game that was postponed by hurricane Isaac, I think they Aggies win this one....my opinion.

Arkansas played 2 good teams last year and was blown out by both. Aggies blew a big lead in the 4th last year to Arkansas.

Well, we see how over rated they are again.

Sour grapes? Denard ran for 200+ and passed for 200+ and accounted for 4 TD's. That was accomplished in more than 2 plays. Michigan also played 8 (8?!) true freshmen in this game. AFA played their hearts out and did well but that comment isn't needed.

Sorry, but I see it as ATM had two weeks off to get ready for Florida! ATM will be lucky to win 4-5 games this year (SMU, LA Tech, SH State, maybe Ark)....Florida is not that good!!

Coaching lost the A&M game..........that and depth...A&M is a big physical team and will hold up pretty good but the depth will ultimately cause them issues. Once they get a little experience, add some depth they will do good.

Missouri played " Old Man " football and got smacked...this QB will not last the season because of injuries.

Missouri didn't even get the full treatment from a punishing SEC team...just wait till they go up against a team that will run the ball over and over and over....It will demoralize them when someone goes on an 80 yd drive and runs it down their throat, especially when it is ols man football....That D lineman should have chosen his words better.........


THEN there was ARKANSAS I too remember losing to UL Monroe in 2007 on Homecoming but we werent ranked. That was just plain old but whipping.

Of Course there is AWBARN who faces UL Monroe this week...it could get real ugly on the plains.

As for my beloved Crimosn Tide I was not impressed sure they won 35-0 but I am not impressed as of yet with them....I see at least 2 losses maybe 3 if they do not get their act together...6 Sacks?????? by Western Ky

You are a vested fan and are more worry than anything. Arkansas can't beat Bama. I'd handicap that game with the tide favored by 20.

And Tennessee too.

OU, however, is doing what they always do. Run up the score when they can to appear to be better than they are. Finess football. Time will tell and I hope I'm wrong.

Agreed on how Bama played, while I watched in the stands I was like "well, #1 spot is up for grabs for LSU or USC this week". Didnt really know how they played(about the same lol) until after the game. Atleast we played off temper with an off temper team. Every championship team has an off game anf Bama just had their worst off game for the season they may pull off a back to back.....may.
