Same here, I ordered the MT bias 28x11.5-17 and M&H skinnies during eBay’s 15% off sale.

Nice, what gear ratio do you have and have any track times yet?

What 15" kit do you have?

I have the same tires and they would rub the LCA on launch. I am in the process of swapping out to the BMR 15” setup. With that said I seemed to be the only person to have troubles with Carlyle kit.

I have heard here and there about issues. Mainly I found it is when running anything other than the stock springs and shocks which I have on

With lowering springs the LCA touched my Welds. Went back to stock and tires still rubbed on a hard launch.

You said you have the Carlyle kit- Does that include LCAs?

Excellent tire. At 830 ish rwhp. 1.43 60' with tight 2800 stall converter, 4 speed, 3.23, 1000 rpm launch off the foot brake. 17 psi in the tire. Stock ZL1 suspension, 17" forgestar drag edition. 20" street tire up front.

Nice times! But I want to see the video of your car with 15" wheels in the back with some Mickeys slicks, a 5k stall converter, 4.10s in the rear, and leaving the line at 3500k. We can take bets on what would break, but still, imagine hooking on that at your power level

If I wasn't moving and holding onto the car, I would be going all of the drivetrain mods you mentioned, except I would use a 3.73 from a manual ZL1. I installed a billet driveshaft with the 4l80e swap, so the weak link would be the axles. Even with the drivetrain mods, I think I could launch the car relatively "soft", make the factory axles live, and still get my 60' down in the 1.3x range which should knock 2 tenths off the 1/4 mile ET.

No, I did too. I am running the BMR setup now with MC brakes.

I'll just say the BMR kit allows you to go much lower in back than the MC kit does.
