Location of your Vitesse VTC
My VTC just arrived and I am wondering where to locate the console and wondering how easy it is to take it out before going to dealer for servicing? Anyone have any pics to share?

Heres mine.. I did not take mine out when I took mine in for service last month, all the service tech said was "I see you have a throttle controller (and smiled)."

Mine is right by the key ignition. I don't need to see it constantly.

I didn't undo any of the ties that it shipped with for packing, then I have the remote dangling over the cubby area into the passenger side footwell.

I left mine on when it went in for service. I just set it to SP1. No one said anything about it. It is mounted on the left side of the dash, behind the turn signal stalk.

I put the display right under the hud dial on the downward slope of the dash. I can see what setting it's at if I look at it, but didn't want it standing out like a sore thumb, it just doesn't look "that cool".
The actual module is taped to the shelf under the dash right next to the hood lever. |

Mine is just below where 13FastBlkSS mounted his where there is a large gap between the two pieces of plastic. I just wanted mine out of sight, but not hard to access.
